Zoning and Land Use changes proposed for Southside Assembly of God land and adjacent parcels

Applications have been filed to change the Land Use designation and Zoning of several parcels on the South Side of Atlantic Boulevard between Kings Ave. and the railroad tracks. The proposed rezoning is to allow primarily residential uses on the property including townhomes and apartments. A copy of the notice is reprinted below:

The public hearing schedule for the ordinances, 2018-14 and 2018-15 is as follows:

I will be hosting a community meeting on Tuesday, January 30th at 7pm at the San Marco Preservation Hall to provide an opportunity for the developer to present its plans and for residents to ask questions and provide input.  SMPS will disseminate notice of that meeting to their distribution list and I will provide it directly to anyone who contacts my office and requests to be included.
